EXPERIENCIA - SPORTS FEST- CULTURAL FEST AND PSYCHOLOGY EXHIBITION

On 31st October, the Department of Sports and the Department of Psychology of Loyola Degree College jointly organized EXPERIENCIA – Sports Fest, Cultural Fest, and Psychology Exhibition, a unique and vibrant event that brought together physical vitality, cultural expression, and psychological insight on a single platform. The program aimed to promote holistic development by encouraging students to explore the interconnection between body, mind, and creativity.

The event was inaugurated with great enthusiasm, setting an energetic and reflective tone for the day. Mr. John Devraj, Artist and Curator of Kala Soudha’s Art Gallery Space, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. In his address, he highlighted the importance of creative expression and psychological awareness in shaping balanced individuals. He encouraged students to view sports, culture, and psychology not as separate disciplines, but as complementary forces that contribute to personal growth and social harmony.

EXPERIENCIA featured a wide range of activities, including sports competitions that showcased teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, as well as cultural performances that celebrated diversity and artistic talent. The Psychology Exhibition drew special attention, as students presented innovative models, charts, and interactive displays on themes such as mental health, emotional intelligence, stress management, and human behavior. These exhibits helped create awareness about psychological well-being in an engaging and student-friendly manner.

The active participation of students, faculty members, and guests made EXPERIENCIA a grand success. The event not only provided a platform for students to display their talents and knowledge but also reinforced the importance of nurturing both physical fitness and mental well-being. Overall, EXPERIENCIA stood as a meaningful and memorable initiative that reflected Loyola Degree College’s commitment to holistic education and student development.
