Kannada Rajyotsava Celebration

On November 12, Loyola Degree College proudly celebrated the 70th Kannada Rajyotsava with great enthusiasm and cultural spirit. The event highlighted the pride, unity, and heritage of Karnataka. The college campus was adorned with red and yellow decorations, symbolizing the state’s vibrant culture and traditions.

The celebration began with the hoisting of the Karnataka flag and the singing of the state anthem, Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate, creating an atmosphere of pride and devotion. The chief guest for the occasion was Mr. Chillar Manju, a well-known artist and comedian from the Kannada film industry. His presence added charm and liveliness to the program. He inspired the students with his motivational speech on the importance of preserving Kannada language and culture while excelling in modern fields.

Students showcased their talents through traditional dance, music, and skits that celebrated Karnataka’s rich history and literature. The program reflected the values of unity in diversity and the contribution of Karnataka to the nation. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and gratitude towards the state. The 70th Kannada Rajyotsava at Loyola Degree College truly embodied the spirit of “Elladaru Iru, Entaadaru Iru, Endendigu Nee Kannadavagiru.”
