INCOME TAX EXHIBITION
On 26th September 2025, the Department of Commerce, Loyola Degree College, organized an insightful exhibition on Income Tax with the theme “File and Smile.” The event aimed to create awareness among students about the importance of timely tax filing and its role in contributing to the nation’s development. Various informative stalls and creative displays were arranged by the students, highlighting key aspects such as types of taxes, exemptions, deductions, e-filing procedures, and the significance of tax compliance. The exhibition served as a platform for students to enhance their practical knowledge beyond the classroom and to develop confidence in presenting complex financial concepts in a simple and engaging manner. Faculty members and visitors appreciated the efforts of the participants for their creativity and clarity in explaining the topics. The program successfully emphasized the message that filing taxes is not just a duty but also a step towards responsible citizenship.
