Green Footprints: Leaving a Legacy of Trees
On 6th August 2025, Loyola Degree College held the Investiture Ceremony to formally inaugurate the Student Council for the academic year 2025–26. The event was graced by the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Daniel Fernandes SJ, President of Bangalore Jesuit Education Society (BJES), Bangalore, who addressed the gathering and inspired the newly elected council with his powerful message on leadership and service. The student council members, who were elected through a democratic election held on 28th July 2025, officially took their oaths of office during the ceremony. The oath-taking marked a solemn commitment by the student leaders to uphold the values and responsibilities entrusted to them. The event reflected the college’s dedication to fostering student leadership and participatory governance. Faculty members, students, and management were present to witness this significant moment of empowering young leaders to serve with integrity and work for the betterment of the student community.
