Onam Celebration 2025
Loyola Degree College celebrated Onam with great joy and cultural spirit on 6th September 2025. The celebration brought alive the traditions of Kerala’s harvest festival, symbolizing prosperity, unity, and happiness. The event began with the creation of a beautiful Pookalam (floral decoration), adding vibrant colors to the campus atmosphere. Students enthusiastically participated in various cultural programs such as traditional dances, songs, and skits that reflected the story of King Mahabali and the essence of Onam. The highlight of the celebration was the spirit of togetherness, as students and staff came together to showcase Kerala’s cultural heritage through games and performances. The festive mood was further enriched with traditional attire, which added charm and authenticity to the event. The Principal appreciated the students’ efforts in preserving and showcasing cultural diversity.
