Role of Youth in Nation Building
Loyola Degree College, in association with The Dr. B R Ambedkar Study Centre and Gandhi Study Centre organized one day workshop on Role of Youth in Nation Building on 23rd March 2024. Ms. Mallige Sirimane, social activist, Karnataka Janashakthi and Ms. Tara Rao, Environmental Activist, central working group member of wakeup group, was the chief guest of the programme. Voting is an integral part of democracy, and it is necessary for people to have a voice. Everyone has the right to vote, which means that all Indians can vote for the Prime Minister of their choice. By voting, you can create change and make a difference in your community.

Dr Fr Alphonse Fernandes SJ, Principal of the college spoke about the importance of choosing the right leader and said that it is the need of the hour for all the Indians to come together and combat the challenges of the current times. The programme ended with the vote of thanks delivered by Vignesh, Director, Mahatma Gandhi Study Centre.
